Kim

Kim Chastain, PT, OCS
Founder & CEO
Board Certified in Orthopedics

Kim has been a Physical Therapist for 23 years. Kim has been Board Certified in Orthopedic Physical Therapy since 1994, and had also been a University instructor in New York for several years. Her desire to provide the very best in Physical Therapy care along with a truly friendly and fun atmosphere for the patients is what drove her to open OrthoSport in March 2002. Kim's sub-specialty is in chronic pain, back and neck pain and spinal rehab. Kim's interests are learning on many subjects. Kim loves the beach, spending time with her husband, dogs, family, and nieces Jenna and Lauren.

 
Niki

Niki, DPT
Chief Operating Officer of all Clinic locations

Niki graduated with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine and plans to become Certified in manual therapy this winter. She loves treating patients of all levels and ages and values the hands-on approach. She also prides herself in treating the whole patient, instead of just a 'diagnosis', in order to ensure results. Niki is an avid football and baseball fan, enjoys playing tennis, riding bikes and water skiing. She plans on training for rehabilitation of golfers, while also pursuing additional education in dizziness problems and TMJ rehab.

 
Taryn

Taryn DPT, Woodstock Clinic Manager

Taryn graduated with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Indianapolis and also has a B.S. in Exercise Science, with minors in Aquatics & Sports. Taryn is pursuing her Certification in Manual Therapy and has advanced training in the treatment of headaches, dizziness and balance disorders. Taryn loves treating all ages and says that her favorite part about being a PT is connecting with each patient on a personal level and designing very individual plans ultimately to return the patient to their favorite activities. Taryn is a native to Philadelphia but is a fan of all sports. Taryn is a former Div 1 swimmer.

 
Beth

Beth, DPT

Doctoral in Physical Therapy
Director of Student Education

Beth graduated with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Emory University. Beth's treatment philosophy incorporates many styles, including Pilates for rehabilitation and yoga poses to reinstate musculoskeletal balances. In addition to general orthopedics, Beth enjoys sports rehabilitation and high-level plyometrics. In her free time, she plays all sports but is passionate about soccer. Beth's favorite animal is a fox!

Melanie, DPT
Doctoral in Physical Therapy
Clinic Manager, Kennesaw/Acworth

Melanie received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of South Alabama. She is an avid Alabama football fan. She is a native Alabamian who moved to Georgia in July 2007. Melanie likes Italian food and playing with her dog. She believes that treatment techniques which work best for one patient may not be the same techniques that work the best for another patient with the same condition and feels this makes each day and each patient a new and exciting challenge.

Kevin, PT
Physical Therapist

Kevin received his Physical Therapy degree from GA State University in 1998. His professional training and interests include general outpatient orthopedics and shoulder injuries. Kevin became interested in physical therapy when he was a patient and was extremely impressed with the field and the philosophy behind it. He prefers a manual approach, when possible, to apply outside forces in order to enhance the bodies ability to heal itself. Kevin has been at OrthoSport since opening in 2002.

 
Jeff

Jeff, DPT
Doctoral in Physical Therapy

Jeff graduated from Stony Brook University with his Doctorate of Physical Therapy. He is a new resident in Georgia after spending most of his time in New York and Kansas. He looks forward to the quality time he gets to spend with each and every patient and takes satisfaction in helping them achieve a full recovery. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and he enjoys implementing various techniques in order to help his patients reach their potential. Jeff is a fan of all sports and has played football at Stony Brook University as well.

 
Megan

Megan, DPT
Doctoral in Physical Therapy

Megan is a graduate of Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta Georgia, with a Doctor of Physical Therapy. She also graduated Magna Cum Laude from Louisiana State University with a B.S. in Kinesiology. Megan is trained in Pilates for Rehabilitation through Polestar Pilates as well as in Kinesiotape and loves to integrate its methods into her treatment approach. Prior to joining OrthoSport, Megan gained valuable experience training patients with both orthopedic and dizziness/balance complaints alike.

Megan is recently married and enjoys outdoor activities with both her husband and her Miniature Schnauzer, Baron. In her time away from the clinic, she loves hiking, water sports, photography, traveling, and Cajun cooking. During football season, you'll usually catch her chanting "GEAUX TIGERS" or rooting for her beloved New Orleans Saints.

 
Jennifer

Jennifer, DPT
Doctoral in Physical Therapy

Jennifer graduated from Stony Brook University with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy. She is a native New Yorker who moved to Georgia last year. Jennifer's enjoys working with patients of all ages. She believes it is rewarding to take a patient through the rehabilitation process and educate them on the prevention of further injury. In her spare time, Jennifer enjoys being at the beach, traveling, and rooting for the New England Patriots.

Lisa, PTA
Physical Therapist Assistant

Lisa received her Physical Therapist Assistant degree from Berkshire Community College in Massachusetts in 1996, so that makes her a veteran clinician. Lisa can be found treating in our Aquatic Center primarily. Lisa is married with 2 sons. Lisa says she loves seeing her patient's joy as they progress in therapy and feel better. In her spare time she designs beaded jewelry, enjoys baking and spending time with her family & friends.
